• Account Information: Your email address and, if you sign in with Google, GitHub or Apple, the name and email address that provider shares with us. BetaDrop never asks for or stores a password — you sign in with a one-time link or code sent to your email, a passkey, or your Google, GitHub or Apple account
• Profile Data: Optional display name and organization details
• Uploaded Content: Application files (.ipa, .apk) and associated metadata
• Communications: Messages you send to our support team
Automatically Collected Information
• Device Information: Browser type, operating system, and device identifiers
• Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, and interaction patterns
• Log Data: IP addresses, access times, and referring URLs
• Analytics: Aggregated platform usage statistics

BetaDrop does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

• Service Providers: Third parties who help operate our platform (hosting, file storage and delivery, payments, email delivery, analytics and support), listed below

Third-Party Services
The service providers we currently use are:
• Cloudflare, for DNS, content delivery and storage of uploaded files
• Razorpay, for payments (your card details go to Razorpay, not to us)
• ZeptoMail, with a fallback mail server, for email delivery
• Google Analytics, for site usage measurement, only if you accept analytics cookies
• Google, GitHub and Apple, if you choose to sign in with them
• Anthropic, whose Claude model drafts the first reply to a support chat, so the text of a support conversation is sent to it
5. Data Security
We implement comprehensive security measures to protect your information:
Technical Safeguards
• Encryption: All data transmitted via TLS/SSL encryption
• Secure Storage: Application files are held in object storage that is not publicly listable. Before a download starts, BetaDrop checks the share link's password (if it has one), its expiry and the build's status, and only then hands out the file's address in object storage. That address is not covered by the link's password, and one already handed out can keep working until the file is deleted, so a short expiry is the stronger control (see our Security page). An expired build stops serving at once and its file is deleted by a scheduled cleanup shortly afterwards; deleting a build removes its file straight away
• Authentication: Passwordless by design — one-time email links and codes, Google, GitHub and Apple sign-in, and passkeys (WebAuthn), whose private key never leaves your device
Operational Security
• Access to production systems is limited to the people who operate BetaDrop
• We fix reported vulnerabilities as they come in (see our Security page for how to report one)
Your Role
• Treat sign-in links and codes as secrets — anyone holding one can access your account
• Never share your login credentials
• Report suspicious activity immediately
• Keep your devices and browsers updated
While we strive to protect your data, no system is 100% secure. We encourage responsible use and prompt reporting of any concerns.
7. Data Retention
Retention Periods
• Guest Uploads: Files automatically deleted after 24 hours
• Registered User Content: Retained until the expiry you set on each build or until you delete it — 3 days by default and up to 7 days on the free plan; paid plans allow a dated expiry up to a year (Pro) or 10 years (Studio), or keep a build for as long as the subscription is active
• Account Data: Kept while your account is active
• Log Data: Typically retained for 90 days for security analysis
• Analytics: Aggregated statistics retained indefinitely (no personal data)
After Account Deletion
When you delete your account:
• Personal data removed within 30 days
• Uploaded applications deleted permanently
• Backup copies may persist for up to 90 days
• Anonymized analytics data may be retained
Legal Retention
We may retain certain data longer if required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention, legal claims).
8. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

When your information is processed by the service providers named in section 4, we rely on each provider's standard data-processing terms.

BetaDrop is not intended for use by children under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
